Swine Flu Road Trip (pt 1)
We were supposed to fly from Michigan this morning through Dallas and then on to Denver. Because of the devastation of the Swine Flue we decided to make it a road trip instead. We would be fly if it was just us but:
- It isn’t worth the small risk of getting Hannah sick. If she did get sick and something happened, we would regret it forever. It just not worth it.
- Sarah is supposed to work tonight and Sunday. If she caught something on the flights home she wouldn’t know for 2-5 days. During that time the possibility of spreading the virus to new-born babies and other people at the hospital would be high. That’s not respectable to the hospital or the patients.
So we’re leaving Livonia in about 30 min. Hopefully we’ll be able to update our journal on the way. Pray for safety!

Too true on all accounts. Safe travels—hope you’re well!

Yikes! I’ll pray that you don’t get sick.
What a wise decision. Be safe and be careful, I know you will.
