One of my friends gave me a bag of hand-me-down clothes and Hannah found this cute Care Bear costume. She loved it and of course insisted on wearing it all morning (with her fancy black dress shoes). She’s a crack up.
Okay so yesterday was Eli’s baby shower (2/20). My sister in law Jen hosted it and did a wonderful job. Everything was so cute and the food was very yummy! Several of my friends joined us for the celebration and we had a great time. Unfortunately…I was having so much fun that I, and everyone else forgot to take pictures!!! So…I literally have like 5 pictures. Poor Eli (I guess he’s already fitting into 2nd child syndrome!) By kid 3, people are asking “did anyone even bring a camera?”. Oh well. I promise to take lots of pictures when he’s born! With all that said…it was a great day and we received many lovely gifts for our little guy!
My Beautiful Cake!
The Cousins “In Utero”. Jen is obviously four months behind me!
Me (8 months)…looking & feeling VERY pregnant.
I can’t wait to meet you Eli!!!!
The doctors think that Sarah may have pneumonia. Hannah is trying to diagnose her as well.
We’ll keep you posted…
What is winter with out a bout of some sort of illness? For Hannah she likes to lay around on the couch or kitchen floor when she is not feeling well. ..yes the kitchen floor. And no…I didn’t put her on the floor…she likes to lay there and cover herself with her blankie and bear…but honestly who hasn’t at one time or another felt that yucky? Poor baby. Emma of course is always beside her checking to make sure she is okay. But don’t worry…after a little lovin’ (and the occasional trip to the ER) our little girl has fully recovered and bounced back to her normal self!

The Christmas season was full of fun and family. We spent the month shopping & baking, visiting the Colorado Symphony, Denver Zoo lights…and of course family and friends. It was a blessed time to celebrate baby Jesus’ birth! And Hannah of course loved getting dressed up in her red dress and black shiny shoes. We of course missed all of our out of state family though!

Shopping days…

Singing with the carolers at the mall.

The Christmas Symphony downtown…a real date night!

Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo…it was freezing, but fun!

Hanging out with the cousins on Christmas day!

Hannah’s new nursery for her babies. She’s such a little mama.
Thanksgiving was wonderful this year. We spent it with family and friends, but missed all those individuals who couldn’t be there with us! It was another successful year with the turkey, but my sweet potatoes were…”interesting” to say the least. Hahah. Maybe next year….???
