Hannah keeps on growing. She has a tooth coming in already, so she’s been drooling a lot and screaming every once in a while. Along with that she LOVES to read. Everything from Veggie Tales to The Hungry Catapiler, to learning about farm animals; especially chickens (as seen in the picture). We haven’t forgotten Emma either; she loves to join in as well.

This might be lame to whole lot of people, but I still think it’s pretty impressive for a 3 month old. Sorry the video is kinda dark, but you can’t beat the “Peter And The Wolf” sound track!

So during my puppet show this evening while I was so unashamedly singing “He’s got the whole world in His hands” with Hop on Pop, Fox and Sox and Yertle the Turtle…Hannah got so excited she rolled over for the first time on her side! The great thing is Patrick and I were both there to see it! I’m not so sure Patrick liked my puppet performance (he’s probably wondering what happened to his wife), but I know he enjoyed the new milestone Hannah made!

These past few weeks we’ve had the privilege of having our sweet friend Mary stay with us. We were sad to have her leave as she embarks on her journey to other places, but we are thankful for the precious time she got to spend with us, even though it was short. She is one of the most beautiful and inspiring persons I know, so full of God’s love and Spirit that you can help but want to be around her all the time! If you ever get the chance to meet her and even chat for a mere 5 minutes…she might just change your life forever like she changed ours! We miss you Mary!

Hannah (and of course Patrick and I) have been long awaiting our dear friends Stephanie and Eric’s baby Samantha to arrive. She came October 21 and is just beautiful! Her parents are glowing and we are so excited for them. We all can’t believe we are actually parents now! Who would have thought we’d move to Colorado at the same time in June of ‘06 and then have babies just 3 months apart in ‘08! We look forward to our daughters growing up together and becoming as good of friends as us parents are! Welcome to the world Samantha!

There’s something beautiful in the fall when the leaves change. This year for Sarah’s birthday we went up to Idaho Springs with some friends to take pictures of the leaves and take it all in. Check out the pictures in our gallery.
