Easter

Easter-2008Beautiful day, fun times. After Kurt left to go back to California, we did a little drawing on some marshmallows. Can’t say we ate them, but it was fun to take a photo shoot with them.

Missionaries to Kenya

As some of you know, we’ve had a couple of missionaries stay over at our house last weekend. Their names are Bryan & Kelly, and they are very cool people. They are currently trying to tie up some loose strings here in the states before they head over to Kenya. If you get a chance check out their blog here. Like I said they are awesome people who wouldn’t mind your support (in whatever way you can). If you feel compelled contact them, let them know who you are, pray for them, and if you want; give them a little financial support. Missionaries are fun!

It's a Girl!

300.jpgLast week we finally found out that we are indeed having a little girl! I never thought the  day would come. I couldn’t wait to find out! She is growing well, is healthy and is very active kicking and flipping around in the womb. The ultrasound tech said “she is a very active baby so get ready”! Everything looked great with baby, but there was something funky on the placenta that my OB doc was a little concerned about. We prayed about it all week and had others pray too and it turns out what I have is pretty common and not anything to really worry about. Thank you Jesus!  And thank you everyone who prayed for us! A special bonus was we got great 3D pics of our baby that shows her facial features and everything.  She is now almost 1lb and about 10 inches long. We are more than half way there!

Check out all our ultrasound pictures here!
